finished building my gaming PC and attached my Miata’s stock seat to a wheel setup. Looks fantastic and way more comfortable than using my desk chair.

What is your total build cost?
I d id 2 minutes of research the other day and it looked like about $1100 with Occulus Rift (including seat/frame, pedals, wheel, shifter, and VR) . And then I understand that with iRacing one needs to buy the tracks.

Not enough bolstering, you might fall out of the seat lol. This is a perfect use of an OEM seat for sure.

Seat was free with the Miata. Wheel/Pedals/Stand were ~$300(4 years ago), Computer is a used i7-6700k, with GTX1080 founders edition, 2TB SSD, 32GB RAM, that came with the monitor, keyboard, soundbar, and Oculus Rift for $1000. some dude was getting divorced and was selling it.
All in, was $1300 for a pretty sick setup.

Nice.
It looks like I failed to account for the cost of the computer.
